This tour takes you to the colonial heritage of Cochin, Tea Town – Munnar, walk in the Spice Plantations, search for tigers at the Periyar Reserve, House boating in the palm fringed waterways, and rejuvenating at the beach on the shores Arabian Sea amongst the coconut trees.

Day 01

Arrive Cochin
Upon arrival in Cochin International Airport you are met by our Representative and transferred to your pre booked Hotel

In the Evening witness the famous Kathakali dance performance performed by professional artists in an A/C Auditorium. Here you can also see the makeup done by the artists for the performance

Day 02

Cochin

After breakfast city tour of Cochin visiting Mattancherry Palace also known as the Dutch Palace. This palace is also famous for depicting Kerala mural paintings. The palace is built in the traditional style of Kerala architecture.

Jewish Synagogue Also known as Paradesi Synagogue. It is the oldest synagogue in the entire Commonwealth of Nations and was built in 1568 by the Malabar Yehudan people or Cochin Jewish community in the Kingdom of Cochin.

Chinese Fishing Nets unique for their size and phenomenal construction.

St. Francis Church is the oldest European church in India. The great Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama who discovered the sea route from Europe to India died in Kochi. His body was buried in this church.

Cochin – Munnar (By Private Vehicle 140 Kms, 3 ½ Hrs Drive) After breakfast leave by Private Vehicle for Munnar. Munnar also known as the Tea Town is the place of scenic beauty, and lush green Tea Estate’s. Upon arrival at Munnar check in at your pre booked Hotel

Day 04

Munnar
Morning after breakfast visit Mettupatty dam - is a storage dam built in the mountains of Kerala to conserve water for hydroelectricity. Due to this dam many wild animals and birds flourish in this region. It is a site for scenic beauty.

Eravikulam national park is a park set up for the preservation of endangered Nilgiri Tahr, also known as Nilgiri Ibex is a rare species of mountain goat. Here you can also spot wild elephants, Malabar civet, phyhon etc. This Park is situated in the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu

Day 05

Munnar – Periyar (By Private Vehicle 150 Kms, 3 ½ Hrs Drive)
After breakfast leave by Private Vehicle for Periyar. Also known as Thekkady. It is a National Park and one of the Tiger Reserves in India. Upon arrival in Periyar you are transferred to your pre booked Hotel

Afternoon drive through the spice plantations like cardamom, pepper, tea etc. The spice plantation in Thekkady is one of the major spice plantations in Kerala

After breakfast leave by Private Vehicle for Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a tourist village in the backwaters of Kerala. Upon arrival in Kumarakom check in to your pre booked Hotel

Morning visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary situated on the banks of Vembanad Lake. Here you can spot many migratory species of birds

Day 09

Kumarakom – Start 01 Night Houseboat
After breakfast you are transferred to Kumarakom Jetty to board Houseboat. House boating can be the most relaxing experience for any age, size or type of people. Cruise through the back waters of Kerala along the palm fringed waterways and you would be able to breeze past the water lilies, lush paddy fields, coir villages, rustic homes, temples and coconut groves.

You can also witness the traditional Keralite village lifestyle unchanged for many years. You hear the merchants selling vegetables in a boat while the village people wait at the bank of Vembanad Lake. Here your crew will prepare delicious Keralite meals from freshly brought vegetables from the market.

Houseboat disembarks at Alleppey – Kovalam (By Private Vehicle 175 Kms, 4-5 Hrs Drive)
Today Houseboat disembarks in Alleppey. Upon arrival in Alleppey proceed by Private Vehicle for Kovalam. Kovalam is a beach resort in Kerala as there are many beautiful beaches. Kovalam in local language means a grove of coconut trees
