A journey that takes us back to the Middle Ages between traditions, history and architecture through magic and fascinating environments.


Tour Itinerary

Day 01

USA – DELHI
Arrival at Delhi and meeting with a representative of Surya Reisedienst and transfer to hotel. Overnight.

Day 02

DELHI

Morning tour of historic city of Old Delhi which include the magnificent Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, Raj ghat Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial. In the afternoon sightseeing of New Delhi that to Humayun's Tomb, Bahài Temple (Lotus temple), Qutab Minar complex, India gate and Government buildings (from outside). Overnight.

Day 03

DELHI – MANDAWA (273km – 5h)

Transfer by car to Mandawa and visit at the magnificent frescoed houses, typical of this region (Shekawati), where settled a caste of traders, Marwari, who enriched themselves with the trade in spices and textiles along the routes that intersected with the silk road. Overnight.

Day 04

MANDAWA – BIKANER (190km – 4h)
Morning drive to Bikaner, afternoon city sightseeing. This desert town in the north of the state was founded in 1488 by Roa Bikaji, a descendant of the founder of Jodhpur, Jodhaji. Visit the Junagarh Fort constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the Moghul Emperor Akbar's army and camel breeding and nursery farm. Overnight.

Day 05

BIKANER – DESHNOKE – KHIMSAR (156km – 3h)

Morning drive to Khimsar enroute visit Deshnoke, the Karni Mata temple, also call temple of the rats as there is the belief that those who serve the Goddess (Karni Mata) are reborn as mice. Afternoon visit at the fort and take a camel ride. Overnight

Day 06

KHIMSAR – JAISALMER (290km – 5h)

In the morning, after breakfast, transfer by car to Jaisalmer. En route stop for a visit a village in the desert. On arrival accommodation at hotel and time to relax. Overnight.

Day 07

JAISALMER

The rich and beautiful palaces and havelis of Jaisalmer shimmer against the relentless monotony of the Thar Desert. Its Rulers were known for their valour, their beautiful havelis and glorious temples. For close to ten centuries Jaisalmer has assumed the air of a virtual art museum. Sightseeing in Jaisalmer include, Sonar Kila, Patwon ki haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli and Nathmalji Ki Haveli. Overnight.

Day 08

JAISALMER – JODHPUR – LUNI (300km – 5,5h)

Morning drive to Jodhpur, the city is known for its striking forts, stately palaces and gracious buildings. Some of these are now India's finest hotels. The city was built in 1459 by Rao Jodha of the Rajput clan. Sightseeing in Jodhpur includes Mehranghar Fort built by the city's founder five centuries ago, Jaswant Thada, museum and bazaar, later continue to Luni. Overnight.

Day 09

LUNI – RANAKPUR – RAWLA NARLAI (140km – 3h)

Morning visit the Bishnoi villages, later drive to Narlai enroute visit the magnificent Ranakpur Jain temple dedicated to Adinath and famopus for the magnificence of the chisels of its 1444 columns, each one decorated differently. Proceed to Rawla Narlai and overnight.

Day 10

RAWLA NARLAI – UDAIPUR (125km – 3h)

Wake up to the sounds of this 17th century village, and take in the spiritual energy from the fresh air descending down from the Shiva temple, stroll through the small bazaar, bustling with activity and bursting with colour, perhaps pausing to see rich handicraft or even design your own silver Tabiz, an ancient lucky charm, for women and man worn around the neck. Later drive to Udaipur. Overnight.

Day 11

UDAIPUR

Udaipur is the most romantic city in Rajasthan. With its hilltop fortresses, fairy tale palaces and exotic legends, the city is proud of its heritage as a centre for performing arts, painting and crafts. Most of the marble palaces and fortification have now been transformed into palace hotels. Sightseeing of Udaipur include, City palace museum, Bharatiya Lok Mandir, Sahelyon Ki bari gardens, Pratap memorial and afternoon boat ride on the lake Pichola to visit Jagmandir. Overnight.

Day 12

UDAIPUR – DEVGARH (135km – 3h)

Morning drive to Deogarh Mahal a fortified palace in the heart of Deogarh village enroute visit Eklingji and Nagda. Rest of the day free to explore the colourful village and bazaar. Overnight.

Day 13

DEVGARH – PUSHKAR (160km – 3,5h)

Today’s destination is Pushkar, a holy town of 500 temple and 52 bathing ghats on the shores of its small lake. Pushkar prides itself of being the site of the only temple of Brahma, the Hindu God of Creation and is therefore believed to be the centre of the creation on the World. Afternoon city sightseeing in Pushkar. Overnight.

Day 14

PUSHKAR – JAIPUR (151km – 3h)

Morning drive to Jaipur, afternoon enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride through the bustling bazars. Jaipur is renowned for textile block printing, blue pottery, carpet weaving, and semi-precious stones. Overnight.

Day 15

JAIPUR

The day will start with an elephant back ascent to the Amber fort. Afternoon city tour of the famous Pink City" which reminds of a glorious past. Sightseeing includes City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar. Overnight.

Day 16

JAIPUR – ABHANERI – FATEHPUR SIKRI – AGRA (260km – 6h)

Transfer to Agra, with visits en route to the Chand Baori Abhaneri (stepwell) and the beautiful, monumental red sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri. In the evening arrival in Agra. Overnight.

Day 17

AGRA – DELHI (203km – 5h)

Early morning visit at the famous Taj Mahal, built in white marble and precious stones by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan who built as a mausoleum to the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Later visit the Red fort where Shah Jahan himself, years later, was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb, until his death. Both places are amazing and the Taj Mahal is one of the wonders of the world. Afternoon transfer to Delhi and overnight.

Day 18

DELHI – USA

Breakfast at hotel and transfer to Delhi airport in time to board the return flight to USA .
